Breath-An Alchemistic Journey with Time

With Judy Heidrich

We have all done it and will all do it.  We do it all day, everyday, day after day, year after year. It’s done rapidly and it’s done slowly, unconsciously and consciously.  It can speed up the perception of time or dramatically slow down the perception of time.  And, it may shorten or add longevity to our lives.  “Modern research is showing that making even slight adjustments to this can jump start athletic performance, rejuvenate internal organs, halt snoring, asthma and autoimmune disease, and even straighten scoliotic spines!

In this workshop we will explore glorious Breath!  Inhaling, exhaling, inhaling exhaling.  On average we take approximately 25,000 breaths per day, about 7.5 million breaths each year!!!

We will examine and discuss a number of various ancient breathing methods, cutting edge studies and miraculous interventions that have occurred by simply inhaling and exhaling in conscious and proper form.  You will discover that you will never breathe the same way again!

“It’s about TIME…”

With Joan Marineau

Welcome to the group that is dedicated to giving you more time.  Are you one to say “I’m so crazy busy”, “I never seem to have enough time”, “where does the time go”, or are you the person who says “I have plenty of time”, “I have time galore”.  Your brain is listening and acting accordingly.  Caroline Myss was the first place I learned about the illusion of time.  She taught me how I honored time, determined whether I had abundance or scarcity.

It is my goal to provide you with specific tools to be aware and alert about your engagement with time and specific ways to increase your abundance of time. This group will also explore what you have been delaying in your life. What is it that IS ABOUT TIME in your life? The group will include experiential exercise to help you be more present and to connect in the ‘’we-ism” vs the “ego-ism” that has a direct impact on your perception of time.

"THE SLOW CLOCK: HOW TO ACCESS BODY TIME"

With Jen Goggin

In this class, you will learn about how the brain and nervous system can release old programming. Participants will be able to access and use  sensations and how it  will take you into body time versus mind time, using Somatic Experiencing.

Somatic Experiencing is a short-term naturalistic approach to the resolution of post-traumatic or stress reactions. It is based upon the ethological observation that animals in the wild utilize innate homeostatic mechanisms to regulate and neutralize the high levels of arousal associated with defensive survival behaviors. Somatic Experiencing normalizes the symptoms of trauma, which bind this arousal, and offers the steps needed to resolve the activation and heal trauma.

It has been shown to help with:

Mobility: Being able to physically move parts of the body that were restricted

Mental resilience: Being able to adapt, cope with, and overcome stress and hardships

  • Quality of life: Being able to take part in activities and enjoy life more with fewer residual stress symptoms

  • It can also benefit those struggling with:

  • Anger

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Disability-related physical pain

  • Extreme fear of movement that may cause pain (kinesiophobia)

  • Grief

  • Insecurity

  • Mood challenges

  • Physical pain

  • Self-doubt

  • Stress

  • Trauma

  • Unwanted thoughts

  • Join me in an experiential workshop that will provide you with tools to calm your nervous system and find more time and peace.
